Beauty is more than skin deep
Unleash the full potential of your skincare products with our game-changer Skin penetration Technology
Technology
Introducing TransE, a novel cell-penetrating peptide that enhances skin absorption of large molecules. TransE exhibits the ability to penetrate deeper layers of skin tissue and transport larger molecules, providing a significant advancement in the field of skincare treatments.
UNMET NEEDS
Aging causes the skin to thin and dry, and lose elasticity. Collagen and elastin break down, leading to wrinkles and sagging. Older skin is thinner, less elastic, and more prone to wrinkles, and age spots thaan young skin.
The skin’s barrier function presents a challenge for the effiicient delivery of skincare products with large molecules such as proteins, peptides, and polysaccharides, resulting in poor skin penetration.
TransE
TransE is developed by the Li Lab at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and is now commercialized by its spinoff, NanoStar. UBC is a leading research institution, known for developing advanced drug delivery systems in various therapeutic areas.
